When my Cubbie had his check-up last week, the vet suggested maybe he had worms because he seemed a bit underweight and had never been dewormed and prescribed Drontal.

We ended up buying six tablets, to deworm the three youngest cats because she told us you give one tablet and then another a month later.

Is this true?? Everywhere I've read up on Drontal doesn't say it needs to be given twice.

???

the twice is a common practice .. whether right or not depends on the vet

Those pills were just mighty expensive. I honestly spend more money on my cats' healthcare than on my own and my husband's combined!
