Well the boys are still doing very well from their nuetering! I think Eek looks a little better today but he's still sleeping an awfull lot. He has developed a couple new spots, they dont look too bad though! Any thoughts on weather or not its safe to bathe him yet?? Its been 4 days since he got neutered!

Hi: I have been going through what you are for 4 months now. I have spent $2000 on treatments. I took in a cat that although unknown to me had ringworm, he gave it to all but one of my 3 other cats. If I had it to do over again I would start out by treating all cats aggressively. They need Grisseofulvin as well as baths and topical treatment (I used imaverol). I also had 2 fungal cultures done on all cats. After 9 weeks of treatment the original cat broke out again worse than ever. I have given him to a lady with no other cats and the facilities to keep in quarantine better. Your also need to clean clean clean. And just when you think you can't clean anymore clean again. I have also heard that Health guard laundry additive and A-33 dry work. I am now trying them but are concerned about the health risks. Good luck.

Yeah, ringworm is a nightmare but I *think* I might be getting somewhere since Eeks was scraped!! It doesn't look like ringworm that Ive seen either though, its very flakey like! My DH and a few others have said that it isn't ringworm, but when they cultured it thats what they said it was! I just want it to go away!! So are you going to get the kitty back when the ringworm is gone? Or is he gone for good???

As long as they want him it will be his forever home and I will retain breeding rights to him. He makes a nicer pet when there aren't any lady cats to go in and out heat around all the time.

Alright so earlier today I walked in on Eek and Hobo, keep in mind that they were just neutered, Eek was on top of Hobo!! ARGGG!! Just humpin away like there was no tomarrow! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BABY BOY??? I pulled em apart and havn't cought them since, but still, I cant believe my cats gay!! At least all my friends will love him!!

The ringworm doesn't look quite as flakey anymore, but it still looks pretty dried out! That normal???

He's running around with part of my slipper today, just having a blast! Eek is such a weirdo!! I swear he's got multiple personality disorder or something!!!

haha, I understand. I was playing with Piper and Paige tonight with their feather wand and out of nowhere Piper grabs it and runs down the hall with it! then, as if that wasn't funny enough, she comes back with it about a minute and a half later and sits on the wand so I can't take it back.

Eek is starting to look better, and Jax still has no spots, However now BooBoo has a balding spot on his leg, it still has fur, no redness, it looks like someone tried to shave him, so I dont know if that would be a ringworm spot or not?? Any ideas??

I'm also wondering about ringworm. If a cat doesn't have any signs of it can they still pass it on? I found some odd spots on my dog's skin and my vet said they could be ringworm, that she might have gotten it from my rescued stray kitten even though the kitten never showed any signs of it! Now I am worried that our new Maine Coon kitten might catch it too...

Some animals are just carriers of it! Which means they dont show the signs or symptoms but they still have it or something like that! Thats what the vet told me, since Jax cleared up so fast he thought that Jax was probably a carrier of it! BooBoo's new spot worrys me like no tomarrow! He has been through hell and back and doesn't deserve to have anything go wrong, EVER. So Im going to start treatment even though it doesn't look like ringworm.. yet!

BooBoo's spot is no longer just a spot that looked like it got shaved. The fur is not there anymore. Since early today the hair has completly fallen off, and now its open and bleeding!! So I think we have a problem there!! I was hoping it was just a shave spot or something, but I guess I wasn't that lucky! Darnit to all beat out, my poor BooBoo...

Eek seems to be alright, his spots are healing, but BooBoo's fun has only begun I think! He has a large nasty open soar now, within 4 hours it looked like maybe one of the kids got a razor and shortened his furr, but 4 hours later it was raw, open, hairless, and just nasty!! So BooBoo does have it now.. The fun never stops.............

And it just continues on!! Eek's spots keep getting scratched open by Jax while they're playing!! So although it still looks like its healing, it does have a scratch on one of the spots!! BooBoo is getting a different medication for it, and then I have to wrap his leg so he doesn't lick it off because its harmfull if injested!! But the good news about this one is it works twice as fast as the other one, and it stops the itching and nawing!! I hope this works!! Im crossing my fingers, and really hope some of you are crossing your fingers for the kitties too... Seems like Ive been talking to myself on this thread recently!!
