Cat Spayed

Sorry if this is posted before. I had my 2 cats spayed last week. They are both acting fine and getting back to the normal routine. One of the girls seems a lot more swollen at the incision site. Is this normal. How long does it take to go down..

In my experience, the swelling is usually do to over-activity. My vet prefers that we limit their activity the first two week postop. I use the dog crate (the biggest one they make) as the recuperation area.

Yes, as long as its not really red looking, no pus, and its not hot to the touch, she's fine.

I sometimes think it looks like something wrong with the skin all bunched up in staples. It can take a few weeks to a few months to look normal again.
