loss of weight after being nutered?

Is it normal for some cats to get a lot more skinny JUST after being nutered?

Some cats eat less but they should never lose weight that quickly that they look skinny overnight. I would give the vet a call and ask for advice.

Seamus looked a mess after the surgery, all sickly and worn out, but even though he went the day without food, he didn't actually lose any substantial weight... is it that he actually lost weight, or that he just appears skinny? Sometimes with the sick look they look like they've wasted away without actually losing weight.. I know when I'm sick I look like I haven't eaten in weeks... if he doesn't pick back up to eating normally and all, I'd call the vet and see what they say...
