Last winter I TNRd two feral kitties at my workplace, think they were brother and sister. The female disappeared last May, and now the male has been gone since Thanksgiving. We have had construction in the area, also there are coyotes and fishers etc. I am not optomistic that the cats have moved on to a better situation. So now I am out of the feral kitty care business. I feel a great loss. I just wanted to once again thank those here who helped me with my cats, and also wish a Happy New Year to you, and offer my well wishes to those of you who devote so much time, effort, and money to helping feral cats.

Awww...... but bless you for having TNR'd these kitties!
It's always heart-breaking when one of the colony disappears - no matter the size of the colony.

Bless you for all you did for those kitties...they may have found a better situation, one never knows - years ago, I almost hit a black cat running across the highway near Mammoth Lakes in February!! I mean, the snow walls were about 20 feet high, at least, and she was in the middle of the Sierra, miles and miles away from civilization, except for a rest area about 3 miles up the road. She was so thirsty and hungry that she came right up to me & I took her to my mom. She was spayed, so the theory was that she was in a moving van that stopped at the rest area & then she got out. I'm sure that her people considered her situation hopeless and didn't try looking for her because there were no ads in the paper or on the radio, and nobody responded to mine. sometimes kitties have good guardian angels
