Thank you everyone. I have no doubt that having all of these vibes coming to her from around the world helped with the update I just got.

She woke this morning slightly responsive, ate a little breakfast with the help of a nurse, remembered her name and recognized her husband and family. It's not the end of the road, but it is a step. The treatment she's on will continue for about 2 weeks and they are being guardedly hopeful.

Please continue with the prayers and vibes...it's working. And thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy lives to think about my family.

Guardedly hopeful. I'm glad, Heidi, and will keep the coming for continued improvement, and for peace for all of you.

The last update I have is from last night, but it's still good news so far.

Her speech is slurred, but she does recognize all of the family members, answers the doctors' questions, and smiles at things the family does. This was only after 2 days of the 14 day treatment, and the doctors are amazed at how well she is progressing. My aunt said they just don't know how tough that frail 90 year old woman really is!

Thank you so much for asking and continuing the prayers and vibes. I know they are helping!

Heidi, I'm just catching up with this thread, and your grandmother will be in my thoughts. As you know, my mom has Alzheimer's, so I'm aware of how difficult senior dementia is. They have good days, and bad days.
