Thanks for posting the link. I don't understand why there isn't any government regulation.

It doesn't surprise me tbh, plenty of toys supposedly for parrots are made from metal with zinc in it, despite it being a well known fact that excess zinc (ie more than the amount in their normal diet) poisons and kills parrots, and that parrots 'handle' their toys most of all with their beak and tongue.
