When I started at my job last June, I set myself a goal of saving a certain amount by next summer (at which point I will be leaving my job to go back to school).
That money will go towards paying for school, if needed. If not all of it is needed for that, it will also go towards paying for a 6-8 week trip to Cambodia.
Well, with today's paycheck, I am officially halfway towards my goal.
Unless large unexpected problems arise, I will have no problem reaching my goal by next June. That's without even taking into account my tax return (which should be pretty generous this year).
I'd take you all out for a beer to celebrate but that might derail my saving plan. So how about some homemade cookies and tea?
