i am sure you will be ok, you can handle it.

Oh Sarah
I debated whether or not to post this here, I really did. I hope I haven't upset you. Perhaps I should have waited until I really know for sure - after all I've been told that despite two faintly positive tests I could still be NOT pregnant.

I hope that my haste in posting this hasn't been something that has hurt you

Congratulations Sarah!
I used a clear blue test and it came out positive (i like them alot better than the lines) , unfortunately i had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have the baby removed 3 weeks ago.

I hope all the best and that its a trouble free pregnancy too!

Congrats, that is SOOO awesome! My oldest turned 16 yesterday. Yikes! From what I hear there are more false negatives than positives. Do you have any symptoms?

It is VERY early days - I can't remember when my last period was and so I'd only be a few weeks, if that, but the test showed up a second faint blue line almost immediately, and I've just had a blood test to confirm. I should have those results within the hour.

Of course, we would be very happy about this - but jeepers! I'm scared to death. What a responsibility!

I'll keep you posted
Wow!!! Congratulations!! This means now your SS will have to send you some booties

Symptoms? Oh YEAH. Tired, HUNGRY, no brains - can't concentrate on anything, tight feeling in my lower abdomen like I'm getting my period, very sore underarms, vague, going to the toilet every 15 minutes or so. Sigh. I guess I've got a lot more of this to look forward to!!

And Heidi, yeah, I told him straight away. We're both in shock. This is rather unexpected - especially considering the problems we've been having - but both happy. It's really an impetus for us to get our acts together. We've been coasting along for too long with no direction - well, that's going to change now, isn't it?

It doesn't seem real. I guess those here with children can tell me about this - I suppose it takes some time to actually sink in? And now I'm getting all scared because I don't even really know myself well at all! So much I wanted to do and learn...what if I'm not a good mother? Confusing for my child? What kind of things could it learn from me when I don't even know who I am? Ahhhhh the mental torment

Yes, those are early symptoms for sure.

I think most of us felt the same way at first. You're much more mature than I was...I was just worried about the labor, not the bringing-up, LOL!

Poor MAX????

He's not going to go through labour. Well, I guess you could look at it from the point of view that whatever I'm going through - he's gonna be going through too. I may have to make sure of that

Oops - sorry about that! Well, the good news is that it's like anything in life. When it's time, you're so tired of being pregnant that you're READY!

And, dang it all, I just lost 35 pounds and was hoping to lose at least another 15
Although I guess I can still go to the gym and eat healthily. I think I've probably eaten about 35 pounds worth of food since Monday, so I'll have to be careful of that. Max always told me that pregnancy wouldn't be a good excuse in his book to pig out, so he'll be watching! But he's right - being pregnant doesn't give you license to eat until you fall over. Even though that's what I feel like doing

You absolutely should post it here and lots of pregnancy updates - I've PMd you, but I want to publicly say I have no issue with other people's pregnancies, and I expect any pregnant people to update regularly and whinge about the frustrating things and share the wonderful things!

Another TCS baby - woohoo!!

I just caught this, but for the record, when you POAS, a line is a line, no matter how faint

Welcome to the land of the pregnant! We're expecting next month!

Well, I just did another test and got the same result - faint blue line but definitely there. WOW. I'm going to do a third and final one tomorrow morning with my first morning pee - and I would expect the line to be stronger. But let's just say at this stage I'm pretty sure it's all systems go....
