My husband usually sleeps in the room across the hall from me due to snoring and for some reason after having our cat, Frankie, for a year now in the last week Frankie has peed on his bed twice. He's never done anything outside his cat box so we're totally confused why he would do that. He doesn't sleep in the bed so it's not like he's having accidents while he's sleeping. The only time he goes in there is in the evening while we're home and the door is open by mistake. We keep the bedroom doors closed while we're gone and at night when we're sleeping. It's almost like he's deliberately making a statement by going in there just to pee on his bed. Any idea why he's doing that and how to stop him from doing that. We're going to try to remember never to leave that door open. Frankie goes in my room all the time and lays on the floor and hasn't done anything on the bed that I sleep in. I also keep his litter box very clean and he uses it. We've never caught him peeing on the bed but don't know what else it could be.
