My kitty sometimes makes this loud meow that sounds like he's in pain when he attacks things. For example I went shopping one day and threw down the bag so the kittens could play on it. So here comes Brio....who let out his loud (painful sounding) meow and attacked it. He also just did it with the curtain. Just wondering if this is normal.....and he just makes the sound from being extremely excited.

One of my cats does the same kind of thing. I have to keep her in my bedroom at the moment as the intro`s with my other cat didn`t go too well.

It is usually in the small hours she will do it and it`s different to her usual late night yowl. It always worries me because the first time I heard it she had actualy got her claw stuck in the curtain but when I check her now when she does it she is talking to her cat-nip mouse! It is rather odd but I wouldn`t worry too much. If they are playing then they are happy!

Well, I've never heard of any cat doing that before -- Con Brio is quite unique, I guess! Cat experts say that cats don't vocalize among themselves by meowing -- this is reserved for their communications with humans, according to them -- so maybe he's trying to tell you that his "prey" is cruising for a world of hurt. ???
