My cat Sapphie is 10 years old today. Last night and this morning I noticed that her fur had bald spots near the base of her tail. Today I even noticed her pulling her fur out of her tail. I was able to get the fur out of her mouth before she swallowed it. Otherwise she seems fine, eating normally, behaving normally. Has anyone heard of this before? Should I be worried? Should I bring her to the vets?
