I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I tried searching but had no luck.
I am going to get a kitten or two in a couple of months (September). I am starting medical school and am waiting a month into school to make sure I have as much free time as I think I will to make sure its fair to the kitties. I should be only gone 4-5 hrs a day.
I was originally planning on getting two sibling kitten, I had read some articles about how they keep each other busy when you're not home and train each other etc. I thought it would be better for the cats to get two.
But my mother is adamant that if I get two they will not bond with me as well, will always be getting in trouble together and destroying things and will in general be worse pets than if I were to only get one.
What is everyone here's opinion on whether getting one kitty alone or two together is best?
