I have a dentist appointment in 2 hours. I need a tooth pulled that broke off, and is very sensitive. I hate going to the dentist (doesn't everyone??). The last time I went, I had to have 5 teeth pulled, but I didn't know what to expect. It actually went fine. The worst part was the shots. Why am I now more stressed about 1 tooth, when I know what to expect? If I could, I would cancel the appointment, but my husband it leaving work early to take me. Plus, the tooth gives me a terrible headache. Maybe I should just have all of them pulled now and get dentures!

Any calming vibes would be helpful! Thanks.

(btw, any posts I make after 1:30, just ignore...I will hopefully be on good painkillers!)

Hope everything goes/went okay - it will, it's just that awful anticipation and then feeling so vulnerable in the chair.

I was just at the dentist yesterday for a cleaning and checkup and I left there sweating and shaky. I'm such a whimp but I find anything to do with dentists terrifying so I can relate!! It's no fun, no matter how you slice it.
I almost passed out watching my DD get her injection for a small filling - got nauseous and dizzy...

Thanks guys! Everything went fine...I now have a hole in my mouth and keep biting the inside of my cheek because it has no feeling in it, but other than that I'm good. I'm just glad I'm not alone in hating going to the dentist!

My husband kept calling me a baby. I know, I'm a wuss!

Thanks for the support!
