Im glad to hear things are going well. Rosie seems to be doing really well. Sophie
she'll come around. This is her first time, so shes probably using some extra growls to make sure he know shes above him

I can tell that little Jack has already won your heart.

Awwwwwww ... I'm melting from cuteness.

Sophie is a little scared I think...
with lots of love and reassurance from you,
in time, she will learn that Jack a welcome addition to her family.
Rosie knows the ropes and is being such a good girl.

At the kitty's beck and call
Awwww Jack is adorable
he looks so comfy and at home.

It sounds as if the introductions are going well, it's still early days yet things seem to be progressing nicely. Fingers crossed that things carry on getting better all the time

I can't get over how cute Jack is - he seems sooo tiny doesn't he? All these kittens I have seen lately have made me want another one. Hrmmm...time to try and convince hubby.

Am I allowed to say I'm so jealous of all you folks that are getting new kitties? Bless them all.

Jack is sure a cutie, he'll have the girls wrapped around his paw before you know it.

Now - more pictures please.

Sounds like things are going good to me!

We brought Bunny home 3 days after Pumpkin. He was just about 6-8 weeks old and she was 2-3 years. Unfortunately we didn't get to do nice introductions between her and the rest of the animals (the 2 dogs and Pumpkin), but all Bunny did was give Pumpkin one good whack on the head and they were fine!
Bunny is the Alpha period of the animals in the house. She will even give the dogs a good whack still if they get in her way!

Wow, sounds as though things are progressing really well!!! Must be a relief that they don't seem too stressed out, and are just curious!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
I've had 5 hours sleep!

No way would Jack stay in the spare room last night when i was locking up to go to bed with the girls. He cried the place down, so i ended up having to bring him in with me and let the girls have free reign of the house after i took their bed, litter etc... downstairs and brought Jacks in my bedroom

One hour later, just as Jack and i settled down i could hear their bells outside the bedroom door, with Rosie making trill noises and batting her paw off the door to be in.

I opened the door and in they came sniffing and looking for Jack. Rosie was ok, and she just lay at the other side of the bed watching his every move, but Sophie growled constantly. I ended up having to put Sophie in the kitchen with their bed and bowls just so i could get some sleep, but then at 5.a.m this morning Sophie started crying so i had to get up to give her some attention

To make it short Jack is now going to stay in the kitchen at bedtime until they eventually bond and i feel comfortable enough to leave them together. He cries when he's on his own, but it's only for a few minutes, and he has lots of toys in there as well as the crinkle tunnel that Pam sent the girls a while back.

I need to do this because I don't want the girls upset, and Sophie expecially needs to know that she's still loved and that my bedroom is still their bedroom

Something else that happend this morning. Jack was in the livingroom on the tree and the girls were watching him in the kitchen. Sophie was giving her long lengthy growls when Rosie turned to her and hissed. Is that her telling her to button it?!

We'll get there though, and i think sooner rather than later with the way things are at the moment

I think you are right Susan, Rosie is probably telling Sophie "Get over it! I tried that with you, and it didn't work, might as welll get used to him."

Susan, it sounds like things are progressive VERY well!

Sophie will get over it in a week or two, just like Ferris did with Penny coming in, and they'll all be best friends before you know it!

Honestly that's just how it looked. I grinned when she turned to hiss at her because she actually did stop

What does the flattened ears mean btw. Is she showing she's scared of Rosie?
