I take metformin(sp), a medication normally used with type 2 diabetes. It helps control blood sugar levels. I do not have diabetes but my body doesn't break down sugars as efficiently as it should. This medication helps my body do that.
Would it be dangerous if my cats ate some pills? A ziplock bag that normally contains my pills was laying on my floor, open. I remember taking pills out of it, but I'm not sure if my grandmother put some back in. What should I do if they have indeed swallowed some? They are not acting any differently and appear normal.
