I have three cats. My eldest won't stop peeing on the floor. the thing is it is not on the carpet or in random places, She is peeing about five or ten inces away from the box. She has never done this before. It started about three months ago. I have had her from a kitten, and litter trained her myself. I have tried everything. Help would be good!

Hi Erin,

A vet trip should be in order to rule out any medical condititions. Since cats are experts at hiding their pain, your cat may be completely acting normal outside of peeing outside the box. This could be your kitty trying to tell you she's not feeling well. It could be an infection. Other members maybe able to tell you what else it 'could' be, but the vet will be able to tell you for sure and give you medicine if your kitty needs it.
