I got myself an appointment set up for today at the dentist. Hopefully they can fix all the remaining issues from when i got socked in the mouth by a horse. and i fan be Tooth pain free! and once they have my partial fixed i can smile pretty again

I ask for the vibes..cause i am Deathly afraid of the dentist...very very very nmuch so. And i cant STAND the pokeing..and prodding..and and and.

So please some vibes please

and some maybe they can just knock me out and do the work vibes too,

lots of dont be scared ((((((vibes))))) whizzing your way - the dentists are really great now - I hated them as a kid, but whilst I get a bit nervous, I find it a lot less stressful than I did years ago

thanks everyone. I have never had a bad dentist. I am just perpetualy afraid of them. and while i can handle alot of pain, if its in my mouth forget it. and i hate when they poke and prod and...does this hurt? as your crawling out of the chair..LOL

about 2 hours now til the appointment i havent hardly ot a wink of sleep ugh. and my mom just got a good chuckle listening to me on the phone cause i was lisping..hary har..

Man i hope this trip is worth it..and they can make me feel better I am tired of tooth pain.

LOL...thing is *I* already knew what had to be done. I should be able to get it done..soon enough I *HOPE* thakn goodness we do have a free extraction clinic..otherwise at the places i called it would cost $86 to $350 per tooth. ouch.

Oh yeah i gotta have a pretty smile for renn..heck i am embaressed enough to be starting a new job with a tooth missing.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Aw, I'm so sorry to hear it didn't go well.

I've never had a problem with the dentist - but Gary is so scared, I totally know through him what you're going through. He's got a mouth full of implants, and he's got a hole he's had for over a year. He can't get up the courage to go deal with it. If it weren't a molar, he'd have probably found that courage somewhere.

I'm nursing the temporary crowns that I have on my front 6 teeth - we just "built" one using composite, as the crown enamel was too far gone to save, and I'm not a candidate for implants because I've had too much bone loss in my upper jaw.

They quoted me about $22,000 for a denture upper. I can't even consider financing a 10K loan, nevermind 22K!

A partial is a possibility for me as well - but considering that I only get $1,500 in dental coverage per year, and have already eaten through that, and need about 12 fillings and two more root canals and several more crowns BEFORE we get to that point - aw, heck, by the time I have the money (IF I ever have the money) I'll be completely toothless. I told my dentist I feel like I'm running through mud - I'll never be able to get there on time.

So yeah...I can relate.

Well...we can always start eating cat food, LOL...
