My pink moment is still going on!! I'm watching Smudge go crazy in the bedroom (see my other thread....). Her and Stumpy are even chasing each other which never happens.

I love watching them have so much fun

My precious pink moment today was playing peekaboo with Cairo in the bed while Paris couldn't cuddle closer to me and was attempting it anyway by nudging her purring little body into my side and Moscow slept on my feet. I love life right now.

My pink moment was shaving my legs this morning and not getting a rash like I normally do.

I saw Tiger in my face and he wouldn't leave me alone
that makes me happy when I see him in my face in the morning.
Miagi always sleeps on the couch but he knows he's always welcome in my room on my bed. I think I need a bigger bed so he can sleep on it, too.

I had a BIG pink moment this morning! My 86-year-old father's memoir of his time as an Army aviator in the Pacific during WWII will be published next year by Kent State University Press, and today we received the first of two reviews by professional historians who have to give their seal of approval to it.

Well, the review just absolutely GLOWS! The reviewer praised the book both as a history and as an exciting narrative, and said it's one of the ten best memoirs to come out of WWII!

So I'm just silly proud and pink all OVER today!
And oh, I can't resist -- here's my cute Papa:

Wow - congratulations to your Dad! That's very PINK!

Mine was Löki being the perfect gentleman when my in-laws stopped by to see my gardens. Not the least bit aggresive - very loving and friendly. Thank heavens for Feliway! Oh - and finishing my planting! Not sure how pink that is - I'm in withdrawal now! I'll have to go and do Kass's garden!
But only if she lets me have TWO pieces of coffe cake!

Well, not from today, but my pink moment yesterday was in the evening, when I was watching TV downstairs. I was laying on the couch and Jake was lying near his crate (behind the couch). Molly wandered into the room and chirped a greeting. She started walking in my direction, but she was actually heading towards Jake, her buddy (a big ol' 55lb dog), and Jake got up and met her halfway, and they both head-butted each other, right next to the arm rest of the couch I was lying on. Molly then kept "snuggling" to his chin and throat while Jake looked befuddled ("Mom... Mom, what do I do now?"). I love it anytime Molly and Jake act that way to each other.

I guess a pink moment today would be this morning when Molly woke me up. Normally she wakes me up LATE, like 3-4pm, but today she woke me up at 11am. She wakes me up by poking and pawing at my face, and when she was sitting on my shoulder and I took a glance at the clock, I sighed, "Molly, it's only 11!" Then it was like she said, "Oop! See you later!" as she turned and bounced off my shoulder and took off. Make me giggle a little (and I got up, lol)

At least, I think it's Zissou'sMom ... It's possible there's another woman with the same name, attending the same school, with a similar picture ...
Lol! No it was me! Having a friend request was one of my pink moments! And then right after I got a message from my friend telling me how excited she is I'm coming to visit her at her beach house in the Carolinas at the end of next week! That was a good couple minutes.

Also I fell into some money and went from having 9$ to my name to enough to pay all my bills!

Oh and CarolPetunia, how lovely about your dad's book. Who has to review it, are they KSU professors?

My pink moment of the day was ordering a small coffee at Caribou Coffee this morning and "accidentally" receiving a large coffee instead.

That rocked!!!
Turned out that I really needed it!

I had a BRILLIANT PINK moment this morning!
My 2 year old son put his hands on my cheeks...looked me right in the eye...and said "I love you Mommy" followed by a little kiss on my nose

I'm still glowing!

All your stories are making me happy. And pink is one of my most FAVOURITE colours, so having an excuse to write in it also makes me happy. I wouldn't say that I've had a pink "moment" today, but am just in a really nice mood for no apparent reason. Which is good enough for me!
