10 week old vomiting

Georgi my darling 10 week old kitten seems to be healthy in almost all ways except she has vomited 3 times in the last week! I can tell when she is going to be sick because she starts to lick her lips then goes away and vomits. She was sick about 20 minutes ago it was pleasant but it wasnt as much as the last 2 have been. She wont drink water only kitten milk - is that the problem? I will take her to the vet soon but I am anxious to find out what the problem might be? Any ideas?

The lip-licking is a sure sign of nausea, and there could be many causes.

I would try to wean her off of that cat milk if I were you and get her used to drinking more water. You can try a water fountain ... it seems to help get them interested if they won't drink from a dish.

As for the vomiting, have you had her in to see her vet yet? While this may sound gross, it might be helpful to the vet if you can take in a small sample of the vomit for him to examine. Parasites are often a cause of vomiting in kittens.
