Angela, I'm so sorry you're going through this!
I also firmly believe that when God (or whatever) closes a door, he opens a window...it's just really hard to know that when you're going through something like this. Please know that we're here for you any time you need a shoulder to cry on.
I am so sorry you have to go through this. A breakup is never easy. But like Natalie_ca said, the kids can pick up on the tension. One of my sisters is going through this right now and her kids are continuously acting out because of all the tension at home. Do what is going to make YOU happy. Lots of hugs going out to you and your kids!

Hubby just told me today that he is leaving me.He has been thinking about it for the last 2 days and decided that he cant live with me anymore.
But he wants us to be friends as we have to live together until i find a new place to live with the kids.
I will hopefully be moving back to Scotland before June so I can get the kids in school at the start of term.

I am so sorry to hear this. From your other posts in this thread it sounds as if things haven't been going that great for a while, but breakups are difficult and horrible. I am wishing for you - strength to get yourself through this and to support your kids and keep them strong - and positivity and optimism in the future to find the new opportunites that will open up to you. That may seem impossible and a long way off right now with these big life changes that you are facing, but there is a whole other world out there for you.

Oh my, how awful..he only thought about it for 2 days and didn't try to work on the marriage? Thats very strange and so sad.

It is always a shock when something like that happens, even though you may half expect it, but we are all here to listen to you and to give advice (doesn't mean you have to take it!) and just to be there, sometimes when you can't say things immediately to friends and family. Do you have a good network of support around you? Or can you go to where there are people you trust and love?
