So much for the new bread...

When I went to the store this weekend I decided that it was high time that DH and I try a new kind bread. So, coming up with this crafty little plan on my own I bought it and told him that they were "out" of the regular kind. (I know... it was a horrible lie, but it's the only way I can get him to try new things!) Well, 8-Bit must REALLY have wanted to try it, because he's been attempting to get into the refrigerator all week to grab a piece. He succeeded tonight. He took one bite, and then buried the rest in his litter box!

DH said: "Well if 8-Bit won't eat it, neither will I!"

So much for the new bread.

your right it's not saying much for the bread if the cat would wather burry it in with the wee-balls

I would go for the good old standard bread

You might ask him if he was planning on confining himself to foods that are 8-Bit approved -- even with 8-Bit's eclectic taste, that would probably be a tad limiting? How does he feel about cat food?

I should! I'm sure they'd be thrilled.

Spelt... I think 8-Bit was looking for Whole Wheat and got the shock of his life.

Here's some info on it: http://www.cobsbakery.com/organic_br...Bspelt%2Bbread

OMG - he buried it in his litter box! That's quite the review he gave!

I swear that cat is obsessed with his litter box, is there anything that he hasn't tried to bury in it yet?

I think he's got the right idea tho, spelt bread isn't my cup of tea. My parents made their own for quite a while as my dad was on a low gluten diet for his colitis (from which he has now had a somewhat miraculous and medically startling complete recovery after 20 years of living with it so I guess it was worth eating bread with the texture of a housebrick all those years)
