strange liquid filled bump

My sister's cat Xena has an odd bump on her side which makes "blorp" sounds when you pet her and accidentally press on it. My sister used to get angry and tell me to stop pressing it, but I really wasn't, I was just petting her and then the weird sounds happened.

She was taken to the vet where they removed some of it but not all because they said it was attached to organs.

Does anyone know what this thing is? It also pops out sometimes. Has anyone heard of cats having weird bumps like that? She doesn't seem bothered by it or in any pain at all, and we were told it was benign.

It sounded like an abscess when you first talked about it but it could be a hernia. Go back to the vet and get kitty checked again.

Tom went in today and got samples of fatty tumors. He has one big one on his shoulder and a really little one on his chest. They are harmless but at 21lbs. he needs to loose weight. Vet said they would probably never go away.
