Carpet Installation?

Has anyone from the US ever used EmpireDirect for carpeting?
They advertise this free at home estimate where they bring the samples to you and install next day. Before I get my hopes up, I was wondering if anyone ever tried them out.

We got a quote from Empire Direct a few weeks ago for carpet installation. I know they advertise low factory direct prices, but their prices were about twice as high as Home Depot and Lowes, so we didn't go with them. We ended up going with Lowes because their customer service was much better than the Home Depot in our area. I hope that helps!

A friend of mine at another forum just told me the same thing, although they actually paid the high price and had it installed by them - apparently they installed it wrong.
