Hi there, I was just calling around to local vets so as to find one to bring my kitties to, and I asked about what type of rabies vax they use. She said it was Maryelle...or at least that's what it sounded like.
I did a search online, and I'm obviously spelling it wrong or something.
Anyone know what this could be?

thanks
I ended up going to a different vet anyway, they have both the 1 and the 3 year optional for rabies...
The one in question couldn't do Chesters ultrasound, but this one can.

I think purevax is the most recent one that is much less likely to cause cancerous sarcomas.

ok, so purevax isn't a brand?
I'm confused.. I thought the 3 year shots were more likely for sarcoma's but the 1 years were the same as the purevax
Was also assuming that most vets would have that as an option, since that's what our small town vet has.

good to know, I'll ask them when I go in with her next week. She's getting her boosters, Spay and microchip in one go, so I'll ask about the brand, and if it's not the purevax, I'll make sure they put it in the leg and then go out of my way to go for someone else next time.
I'm sure it is though. Unfortunately, when I did ask all the receptionist said was "uhh, we have 1 and 3 year shots" The receptionists seem to forget the brands (don't blame them).
Thanks
