I want to thank everyone for giving their sympathy to Simon, our family's favorite cat. As many of you have realized, the reason I joined this forum is because of the sudden passing of Simon. Everyone has been so nice and sympathetic. Now Simon wasn't the only cat we ever had. We had several other cats. Ranging from black to gray. One of the most memorable cats we ever had right next to Simon was Blackberry, a plain black cat. She was a wonderful companion. Anyways, enough sad news! We are planning on adopting a kitty similar to Simon. A brownish tabby called Riley. He seems like a very emotional cat. Always rubbing himself against someone's leg. Very soft and cute. I will keep you informed as to wether we will adopt him or not. Thank you for reading, and I will see everyone at the forum.

Bad news! While we were wondering wether to adopt Riley or not, some other people adopted him! He was a nice kitty and I hope he found a good home with a loving family. We hope to find another cat as nice and loving as him.

Dear Van and fam:

Aw, shucks!
But it IS good that Riley has a loving family.
And as we all know, there is no shortage of sweet, loving, wonderful cats desperately needing forever loving homes.
I'm sure you'll find just the right furpal soon.

Keep us posted on any new developments, won't you?

At the kitty's beck and call
Welcome to TCS
I'm so sorry to hear of your sad news - you must feel Simon's loss deeply. It's lovely that you're considering offering another kitty a home - you missed out on Reilly, but there are so many wonderful kitties looking for a loving home like yours
. I hope you meet your new friend soon.

Hi & welcome!
It is too bad you couldn't adopt Riley, but that just means that he was somebody else's cat. Your cat is still out there waiting for you!

Dear Clixpix, Miss Sabina, and Bumper:

What a gorgeous siggy you have there, in the Valentine's Day theme! Sure hope it's all they -- and you -- hope for!
