Bach is the name brand, Rescue Remedy is the name of the product of 5 of the essence mixed together. Just ask for Bach's Rescue Remedy. I have also used a product called 5 Flower Formula that is the same thing. The people at the health food store "should" be able to help you.

I will continue to keep you and your baby in my thoughts, Eva.
I'm on my way within the hour to hopefully pick some up. I than place it between the paws and rub it on the inside of the tip of his ears? Correct?

Thanks so much!

What I do is take some and rub it on the inside of their ears and on the paw pads directly, not between, but you could do it between.

I think that the increase in Simon's pain meds and the remedy's will help.
You and your precious boy are in they thoughts Eva.

I've been home an hour and a half now and I have a totally relaxed and soothed kitty!!!! I gave him both his medicine and the rescue remedy as soon as I walked in the door. There hasn't been a howl since!!!!! I picked up the remedy at our GNC in town and they knew exactly what I asked for. They asked how I planned on using it and they said it was an excellent product! It has been almost an hour and fifteen minutes and he is just as relaxed, calm and content!

He is now calmly watching Mia and Takoda drag race around the living room!!!

Thank you! thank you! Pam and Lei for keeping me grounded with ideas on how to help him through this!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who sent both Simon and I relaxing and feel better vibes. They really kept my head on straight.

I think I might even need a wee bit of Simon's Bach Rescue Remedy!

It's good to hear that Simon's surgery went well and that he is calming down with the help of Rescue Remedy. Poor baby, he must feel so strange with the cast on his leg. Calming vibes to Simon and hugs to you for being such a caring meowmy.

I am glad that Simon's surgery went well and I am glad that he is doing so good too.

I hope this finds him doing even better today.

Sending hugs and prayers from Mississippi for you and for him.

The vet visit was uneventful but good. They decided that the dressing and cast/bandage is in great condition and will leave it on until Friday of next week. It didn't smell and there is no damage to dressing. He is a good boy and hasn't peed on it either!
Simon will continue to stay in the kennel until next Friday.

They are going to sedate him on Friday to remove the cast and stitches. At that time they will determine whether he needs to have another cast or leave it off and start therapy.

Again I can't Thank everyone enough for the vibes!! We have so much board magic on TCS and it works!
