I'm having lasagne (frozen, not homemade) with garlic bread. That is as long as my power stays on long enough to cook it.

I've got spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove. I feel guilty because I've been so sick lately that DH hasn't had many home-cooked meals! Home sick today, but felt up to making a bit of an effort!

Well, scratch the spaghetti. DH just arrived home early from work - sick with the same cold I have. He wants chicken noodle soup.

No kidding! He came through the door and almost the first thing he said was what was I cooking, he couldn't eat it! That's his favourite meal, so he really is sick. That's my revenge for his lack of sympathy when I was so sick this weekend (couldn't cook him a fancy Sunday dinner)! I'm being mean, he really wasn't that bad - it was just sort of a "are you feeling up to cooking" enquiry! I took it the wrong way because I've been so sick lately.

I've got my pie in the oven. Getting hungier reading this thread.

sharky - that sounds goood! I've never had cornish hens before. Why is the rice forbidden?

icklemiss21- so, what are you having for dinner?

in the land of poutine and ice
Matt decided for me, I wrapped some seasoned turkey around brocolli, peppers and cheese and its baking in the oven along with some potatoes.

I am such a potatoaholic lately.

I did mention Mika's cheesey chicken to Matt and we will be having that later this week

I'm a little obsessed with mashed potatoes lately. I think it's the cold weather, you just want a nice stodgy comfort food.

sharky, I thought would be an intriguing explanation!

Brian shuns Wendy's, but I love it! They put mayo on pretty much everything, and he's deathly allergic, so we tend to stay away.
