well since its almost 8:30 and the game has not even started yet, who cares. GRRRR this is bull week after news year and not starting the game until 8:30 on a monday?

I really hate Florida. Crocs 34 OSU* 14 at the Half. This just shows how weak the big 10 was this year.

I'm not thrilled either they beat us every stinking year!! But one of my best friends is at the game dressed as a stupid Gator Ugggggggggg

I have nothing personal invested in either team, but I love watching football when one team blows the other out!

I'm "watching", but only because Brian is home and its what he chooses to watch while I finish dinner and cruise TCS.

Meh...I live here in central Ohio, and it gets crazy this time every year. These die hards are looney. Right before the U of M vs. OSU game this season, I was at work checking out a lady buying beads to take home (she lived in Michigan, was visiting family). She had a 'Go Blue' shirt on, and an OSU student was behind her, and interrupted her, while she was talking to me, to say that he doesn't understand the language of idots when they come from Michigan.
Ohhh....it was bad. But the game on means it's dead at work, so we can watch it in the back ; )

Aw, come on now. I live within sight of campus, and I'm a student. People who wear Michigan clothes here are asking for it. Esp that close to "THE GAME". Not defending the kid, but really, that's how it is, and she knew that too. If I went to Michigan that close to the OSU Mich game I'd expect to be treated the same way if I decided to wear the clothes.

Anyway, the paper ran an article that began with "Good luck getting anything done Tuesday" because nobody's going to work.

How's everything in Columbus?

Being on the front lines, I'll actually have to say better than expected for now. North Campus usually sees more riots/couch fires/underage arrests, and I live pretty far south.

But so far, a few sirens, some angry shouting... I think everyone's too depressed still. Wait til 2 or 3 and ask me again.

It's eerie. After every other game it's sounded like a giant party out there. Now it's just silence and police helicopters.

Julie continues to mourn. Zissou can tell I'm upset. Aw. My little buckeye!

It is not our proudest moment, especially with all the penalties.

I just can't stop thinking about my friends that went out to Arizona to see the game, and how dissapointing it would be to have spent all that money and effort to be there and watch us lose so horribly.

Anyway, the city's done a good job of keeping us safe and sound here (parking bans, extra trash pickup to prevent dumpster fires, etc) so I think I'll be okay.
