Nat, I asked Matt if he fancied missing football to bring you groceries but he said nope, then a few mins later I got a 'did you just say you wanted to go grocery shopping in London, they will all defrost and stuff by the time we get home'
That was the only strange thing about going grocery shopping in London?

No, I have no sense of direction. I am what you call directionally challenged.

I haven't gotten lost in my own town in a long time, but I have lived here for 27 years.

Well, Nat, did you get your grocery shopping done? You know Trout gets grouchy when he doesn't get his food! BTW, I was in our local Independent Grocer today (I'm sure they have those in London too) and great buys on lots of stuff - 99 cent sale on right now! Not for TP though - sorry!

I actually prefer Cottonelle to Charmin or Royale.

Here's my solution to grocery shopping - may not work for everyone but, our daughter hates housework as in helping me do any. I don't actually mind cleaning, washing and I love ironing, so in exchange for her not helping with the cleaning, one of her chores is to do my grocery shopping every weekend. Since I really hate shopping it works out great for me. The best thing is that when I used to do it (with her tagging along) she always wanted some of this and some of that and this, that and the other thing. Since she's been doing the shopping she only gets what I have on the list (unless she calls on her cell phone to ask for something special) and is pleased that she only spent X number of $ on the groceries. I love it! I think it's called a Win-Win situation.

Dang - I wish my daughter was still here and could do my shopping. Oh wait - what am I saying - I finally got rid of the professional student a couple of years ago (although most of her stuff is still here - that's the next chore)!

I should have gone to get my groceries an hour ago, but I'm still sitting here listening to you guys! Can someone please stop me if I'm here for over an hour? Wonder what I used to do before I found TCS?
