I'm staying home. We live in Tucson, AZ the gunfire capital of the world and there is always some moron who starts the New Year off with a couple of rounds.

I have to be around to peel my babies off the ceilings, get them down off the highest cabinet....you understand.

Hopefully, no rounds will come through the house.

Eating Chinese food and watching the Three Stooges - TV38 in Boston runs a marathon every NYE.

I'll probably be staying in. It depends. I don't even have plans yet.
I usually watch the ball drop on tv and then go to bed. I am so boring, I know.

DH has only stayed up till midnight with me once. Usually he's working but not this year. Even still, I don't see him staying up. Most likely I'll be right here! Either someone from the chruch or just the church usually does a party, but I don't think I'm up for all the noise! I will miss the food though!

I'll probly just stay home, I'm sure John will go out tho.

If I stay home with my family, we are going up to a skiing place 45 min away for the night - skiing and all that fun all night!
John would go out without you and not spend NYE with you?

I'm either flying to Italy to welcome in the New Year with George at his villa or staying home and watching DVD's with my downstairs neighbor and the cats. How will ever I ever decide?

Hmmm, that's a tough one Eileen.
There are some pretty good movies out on DVD right now.

A deciding factor in either case might be: What's for dessert?

And here I am complaining about mere fireworks!

How about some DVDs starring George as a compromise? Actually, one of the DVDs we're going to watch is "Ocean's Eleven". Maybe we could do a "George evening", as we also have "The Perfect Storm", and "Syriana".

Hmmm...a George Fest. This could become an annual event. I like it!

There's no place like home
New Year's eve-eve (12/30) is our wedding anniversary so we will go out and celebrate that night. For New Year's we'll stay home - too many amateur drunk drivers on the road that night. I think the Bear's are playing that night. We're trying to get some friends to come over and stay the night in our guest room so we have someone to party with.

Or is there a Taco Bell open?

It'll be day 5 of my cold and that is when you usually feel the worst.

Will and I will be spending it at home with the kid.
We'll have our usual munchies, shrimp, tostitos and salsa, olives, pickles, mozzarella cheese, wine & champagne and what ever else we decide on. I love watching all the New Years Eve celebrations on tv. Sash especially loves New Years Eve...because we have his very favorite shrimp!!

I don't have any plans. I was invited to a party but I don't feel well enough to go.

I'm picking up the second Pirate's of the Carribean movie and plan on watching that, having some Diet Coke and gormet flavoured popcorn and probably being in bed before midnight.
