That must be her way of saying I am unfomfy and getting close My queen is really sweet and like velcro, she kind of sticks right to me when she is getting close. Most will have a little bit of a change in personality as their time nears, mine luckily gets really really sweet. I am guessing she will have them in about 3 days and have 5. So 1/5 she will have 5 @ let's say 9pm.

Guessing for cupcake. Icey does get that way when she delivered in the past. She isn't now.
Dante' has been sniffing a lot lately and she has been sleeping a lot, but I don't think she has had any heats mabey she is getting ready to. As soon as she does I will breed her with Dante' I am hoping to have another kitten like Yuki, I WILL be keeping this one But any way, No she isn't pregnent yet.

Oh. Duh. I'm a little more blonde than I like sometimes...

Kali has been doing a lil more snooping around tonight then normal so i dont know i hope she has them by the 5th and i say 5 or 6 she is pretty big like the last time she was big and had 6 she is done after these ones lol we have appt for her already so no more for her.Sometimes she is very lovey dovey and then she is like a dog and scratches and bited for no reason.I dont know if grooming has anything to do with it but she has been doing all night. And followin me around so maybe soon......I'll keep everyone posted

Since you mentioned grooming, it made me think of some thing. How well groomed are her teats? Are they completely clean of hair? If not she will still be a while mabey week pr 2. Is she grooming her vulva? she could be grooming there to clean it or she has lost the mucus plug, so if it is excessive groom ing in that area it could be the plug and after loosing that she should be having them within 48 hrs. If she is closer and lost it with out you knowing it could be very soon, she could be cleaning up discharge she will have just before she has them, it could possible be within hrs if that is the case.

Kali has no hair around her teats at all and yes she is grooming her vulva like all the time more today and tonight then the past couple days. And right now she is meowing to get in my dresser so i dont know.....lol

HMMM.... You could be having them very soon, I bet she has lost her mucus plug and is getting very close, mmabey she wont go 3 more days and she will have them in the next 48 hrs. But, just when you think she is going to have them and she can't go any longer, a week later she has them. I guees, we won't know til she does I hope it is soon, so you aren't having anxiety attacks wondering when she will have them

i have a cat that had a litter late oct 06 she had a litter of 4 we keeped 2 kittens the kittens are nearly 4months now and i have noticed that the mother has gotten really big now and she has been attacking her kittens. we did catch her mating and we stoped it. as she is a wild cat but is friendly when she wants to be we couldnt take her to the vet as she would claw us to death. are some of the things i have said are signs of sure pregancy im def going to take her to the vet after if she has another litter. how did you tell your cat was pregnant i know how to take care of her and the kittens and feed her and what to do but im just not actually sure that she is pregnant again but she def looks pregant and doesnt want company anymore and seems to attack her to kittens.....

please help with any info....

Pumpkin...it is normal for a mom to want to stop being a mom after a period of time and especially if she is pregnant again. You need to give her a space of her own...away from her first litter. At 4 months of age, they can fend for themselves. If you caught her mating...chances are she is pregnant again. Cats are induced ovulators and can become pregnant again within a few days of giving birth...which is why you should keep your cat indoors only until she can be spayed.

i will try and keep her inside from now on. we have let her do her own thing and she seems fine i am def sure she is pregnant again as after a few weeks of having her last litter she went really skinny and her nipples went back to normal after the kittens had stoped feeding of them. she is now really big again her tummy is round and out words and really hard and i have noticed that her nipples are big again everyone seems to think she is are these def signs that she is pregnant again. i have keeped her away from her two kittens its up setting though as they wore so close only few weeks ago and now she wont touch them i just only wonder how far along she is and when would she be due? i would take her to the vet but she is the type of cat that only coudles you when it she wants to and we had enuff time getting her into the car to come to our home where she lives now ... but i think we will have to keep in a room with food and then put her in a cage and take her.

I would use the date that you caught her mating and count forward from there. The normal gestation period for a pregnant cat is between 57-69 days. Some cats have been known to go a few days beyond 69 days.

It will definately be a good thing if you can keep her inside and give her a room to call her own since she can become pregnant again as early as a few days after giving birth.

sorry havent been keeping you guys up 2date been back at work!!
tonight meow in licking her self hard out and has been hiding under my bed and meowing for attension i think she mite be ready to have her kittens and its Amazing she is being kind to her two kittens which she hasnt for the last few weeks so i think tonight the night...will keep you guys informed!!

hope everything goes ok . make sure you have a vets number handy . just in case as this litter is so close to her having her last little. and get some kmr or some sort of replacment milk for the kittens as mum might not have enough milk sue to not long weening the other kittens.
keep us updated , and we love pics dont forget lol
and please get her spayed once the kittens are about 8 weeks old. she really does not want to go on to have another litter, it really isnt healthy for her. and there are so many unwanted cats/kittens in rescue and on the street as there is.

Pumpkin it may be better for you to start your own thread to get some great support. Unless your kitty is 'kali' and she is pregnant again. . . .this thread was begun about a kitten's pregnancy in december. hope all is well for you and kitty.

I think you may be mixing up kittens tasha....I think pumpkin is needing help and support - but kali (cupcake's kitten) has already given birth and was due to be spayed already.
