I recently took in an incontinent cat. She's wonderful and sweet and I very much want her to have the run of the house. She's incontinent due to a severe tail injury, and had to have her tail amputated.
So I'm looking for experiences, ideas, and advice from others who have had similar kitties. She is currently confined to one room in the house that is easy to clean up, but I want her to be part of the family. The problem is that she refuses to wear diapers. I've tried kitty diapers, doggy diapers, and huggies for kids (they fit great and are cheaper than pet diapers!), and she can get out of all of them. No matter what, she can take them off. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep these diapers on her? I certainly can't use super glue!
My next thought is to put a body suit type thing on her that goes from neck to butt, and she could wear the diaper under it, and hopefully then she couldn't slip out of the diaper. Has anyone tried something like this or know where I can get kitty clothing made? Or maybe something made for a human baby would work? If I have time, I think it would be fun to design something for her myself, but I'm pretty busy these days and I wanted to get ideas from other people first.
