What would be the house of your dreams?

Where would it be?

If I were to bring my 4 skin kids and 5 fur kids to meet you, what would we do for fun?

What would you fix for us to eat?

What about my DH?What would him and your DH do while we were chatting?

How did you met your DH?

How long were you engaged before marriage?

Was it a big wedding?

Formal wedding dress and tuxes?

How many partys were there? (bridesmaides, etc.)

What would be the house of your dreams?
A two story farmhouse with lots of gables, a large front porch with a swing, and a small yard with a garden.

Where would it be?
Preferably Georgia, but I would be happy with Tennessee, North or South Carolina. (All based on proximity to mine and Brian's family.)

If I were to bring my 4 skin kids and 5 fur kids to meet you, what would we do for fun?
We'd go to Hollywood Blvd and let you see Graumann's Theater, The Kodak Theater, the stars on the sidewalk, and the Hollywood sign. We'd also drive up to Mulholland Drive so you could see the view of the city from up high/far away. And we'd go to the Santa Monica Pier so you and your kids could see the Pacific Ocean and play.

What would you fix for us to eat?
For a crowd that big....probably a huge salad, my special spaghetti (I get loads of compliments on my sauce), and garlic bread. Wine for the adults if they wish.

What about my DH?
What would him and your DH do while we were chatting?
Brian would either play Playstation with him or drag him to his favorite movie theater to catch a movie.

How did you met your DH?
We met online. I was looking for a graduate school and saw on an online profile that he had graduated from there. I emailed him to ask questions about the school and the town and we've talked every day since.

How long were you engaged before marriage?
1 1/2 years.

Was it a big wedding?
About 100 guests or so. Not really big.

Formal wedding dress and tuxes?
Yep.

How many partys were there? (bridesmaides, etc.)
Three bridesmaids and two groomsmen.

Here's a couple pics!

What is the best movie you've ever seen?
Hmmm....either Forrest Gump or Garden State.

The worst one?
Hostel. I hated it.

The scarriest one?
Remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Jessica Biel. It kept my adrenaline up the ENTIRE movie. I loved it!

If you could see 1 person from your past, who would it be and why?

If a close friend of yours were to get a really bad hair dye done on her hair and asked what you thought, what would you say?

If an old male friend of yours were to come up to you and ask how you've been, would you talk to him?Or just say good and that's it?

Are you the jealous type?

Do you have a large family?

How many Brothers?

Sisters?

Any neices and nephews?

What kind of shampoo do you use?
Right now I'm using Herbal Essence. I usually buy whatever smells good and is on sale.

DO you use conditioner?
I have to or I never get a comb through my hair.

Body bath or bar soap?
Dove exfoliating bar soap for everyday. Body bath for when I'm taking a luxurious bath.

Toothpaste?
Crest.

Mouth wash or not?
Not.

How often do you do laundry in a week?
I let EVERYTHING get dirty and I do a marathon laundry night about every two weeks. I have to pay for laundry and carry it downstairs to the complex laundry room so its always a pain in the tushy.

Do you use liquid or powder laundry soap?
My mom raised me on powder, but in college I discovered the wonder that is liquid soap. Now I'm hooked.

My sister. I'm missing her tonight. She lives on the east coast and we've always had a really close bond.

If a close friend of yours were to get a really bad hair dye done on her hair and asked what you thought, what would you say?
"Come with me. This can be fixed." And then take her to a really great salon and hold her hand. Unless of course she thinks it looks great. Then I might humor her a little.

If an old male friend of yours were to come up to you and ask how you've been, would you talk to him?Or just say good and that's it?
I would talk probably. I like catching up with old friends regardless of past history.

Are you the jealous type?
I used to be in other relationships. But there's a comfortable trust with me and Brian.

Do you have a large family?
Yes. Both parents, 3 siblings, 3 nieces and nephews, and TONS of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

How many Brothers? 1. 12 years older.

Sisters? 1. 10 years older.

Any neices and nephews? My sister has two little girls, 9 and 4, and my brother's little boy is barely 1 year old.

Are you having fun being the spotlight person?
YES! You guys have stumped me on a couple of questions.

Do you know who you are going to pick next?
Yes.

Are you done with your Christmas shopping?
You're funny Tammy.
I haven't even really started. Waiting for payday.

Do you and DH exchange gifts?
Yes. I have a list of things I want to get him but I have to narrow it down.

Do you go anywhere for the holidays?
HOME. To Georgia that is. We're flying there on the 23rd. To Virginia to see his family on the 27th, and then back home on the 31st. We're going to be SOOO tired. Anya is coming too.

What is the worst meal that you have ever tasted?
When I was learning to cook I make some pretty dry and awful meat before.

If you were a cartoon for a day, who would you be and why?
Opus the Penguin. I'm a HUGE Bloom County fan and he has such a great personality.

Do you like to play playstation/nitendo/etc games?
Nah, that's Brian's thing. I like to watch him play some of them though.

Have you ever played hookie from school?
I left with some girlfriends ONCE. We didn't get caught and I was too scared to ever do it again.

When's the last time you jumped rope?
Early college? That's a good question. I should do that. It's good exercise.

Or played hide-n-seek?
Last time I was home and playing with my youngest niece.

Do you like to write poems?
I did in high school.

Can you draw pretty good?
I took art classes in college and got good grades, but I always had to try REALLY hard. So, no.

did you make your own flower arrangements for your wedding? (I did cause it saved money and it was MY own design)
I didn't do the bouquet flowers but I did almost everything else. I made all the jewelry. I did all the decoration and table centerpieces. I cleaned the garden and planted flowers out there. We saved a LOT by doing most of it ourselves.
OH- I made the throw away bouquet.

Did your wedding go as well as you had hoped it would?

What was the reception like?

Did you get the Father/Daughter dance?

The only thing that went "wrong" that we laugh about now is people got restless at the reception waiting for us to finish up a few photos before we came to cut the cakes. When we got in there to cut them there was already big chunks missing out of the backs... A lot of people left early too. We were planning on dancing etc., but in my small town they don't do all night wedding parties.

What was the reception like?
It was in a tavern, buffet style, very low key. I had small pumpkins and leaves/wheat on all the tables. Candles everywhere. A close friend/groomsman sang a set of music.

Did you get the Father/Daughter dance?
No. My dad is too shy to dance in front of people.

I forgot about this site. A friend who snapped a few photos at the wedding made it: Emily and Brian's Wedding

Oh I forgot! One of the reception decorations that people loved were framed photos that we put everywhere of me and Brian as little kids and growing up. We'd put one of me and him at the same age next to each other.

That sounds like a GREAT idea!!!!
We didn't have a reception. So, I didn't get the Father-Daughter dance either. And now that my Dad is no longer alive, I missed out on it.

It is a tradition in Shawn's family to throw the Groom into a body of water. They threw Shawn into the creek right out in front of our house. They TRIED to throw me,but that was a no no big time.I was 4 months pg and my Mom let them know she wouldn't *let* them do that to me.
