Sneezy Booger Cat

Poor fat Harriet. I think she has a URI. She's all sneezy (sneezed on my face 3 times last night. Yuck.) and her wittle eyes are all watery.

It's off to the vet we go. Hopefully Monday, but probably Tuesday. Some good thoughts, please? I'm hoping it's just a URI. We have something NASTY going around at work and they're starting to suspect it's not just your run-of-the-mill URI... I hope I didn't bring it home.

I have had her around 2 mos now--could she have been incubating something that long?

Kitties can get URI's from just being stressed about something. Cats and humans don't share viruses, i.e., if you have a cold you won't give it to your kitty and vice-versa.

Let us know how you make out at the vet.

I know we don't share viruses, I work at an animal shelter. We have a nasty URI (or something--calici virus? ) sweeping through our cattery.

I am hoping i didn't bring it home.

Sorry, I thought you meant a human virus that you brought home!

I hope everything is ok...my kitten just got over a URI and well now we have learned that she has sinuses and that is causing bleeding in the nose for her..but one of our other cats are sick and well the kitten is already isolated and everything because she is too small and we have big labs lol!!!

Here's positive vibes that Harriett works thru her sneezy URI quickly!!

A URI hit my household about 2 weeks ago and is working it's way thru my crew. Thank heavens its just a few sneezes the on to the next cat this time.
