Also it bothers me that she thinks he may have a tapeworm and does not take the poor cat to the vet.
If you had ever read any of my other posts or threads about Trout, you would realize that she is my life. You know nothing about me and I suggest you think about it before you tell a cat lover that they should rather have a stuffed animal. You think I don't care enough to consult my vet if there is something wrong? Did you notice the post in this thread about how in March I almost lost her and paid alot of money to get her better?

Perhaps you should read up before you judge someone. I am certain everyone on TCS KNOWS how important Trout is to me.

And for anyone else reading, yes Trout has been sleeping with me since right after this thread was posted..and she LOVES it, she is way happier and a cuddley purry bug..It is the BEST thing I ever did for her

Oh Natalie! I'm just now seeing this thread and that's WONDERFUL! Have you learned how to sleep in contorted positions yet so as not to wake the sleeping kitty?

I woke up this morning and it was so sweet because Anya was asleep between my feet on her back all stretched out with all four paws up in the air.
Too cute!

And as a side note I wouldn't have doubted for a minute how much you love Trout. I've read your posts and seen your pics. You're head over heels for her just like the rest of us are for our cats.

We haven't done that yet with Anya, but we're both pretty light sleepers, so if in moving we bump into her we wake up. You and Trout will both adjust soon.

I learned that that is her come play with me meow, and the fact that i wanted to sleep did not much matter.

maybe i missed it but is trout still doing his meow?

Trout has stopped meowing altogether at night and in the morning
The only time she meows now is during the day when she wants to play!! So she really just was lonely, and letting her in my room at night totally remedied that

I haven't been here all that long...just a little over a month...but from the very first post I read that was made by Natalie I knew that Trout means the world to her and that she's loved very much.
Just had to say that!!

Natalie, don't worry you're not the only one who's flung a cat off the bed in your sleep.
Gracie sometimes sleeps between my Husband and I, but more often than not she sleeps right on the edge of the bed beside me...believe me she's hit the floor more than once, she gets right back up on the bed and sits on my chest and puts her butt in my face...I think that's her way of telling me "Mom, do not do that again!!!"

Don't worry about flinging Trout off the bed, I think most of us here have done that before....and the cats always get us back!

You got it wrong, though. It's not that Trout means the world to you...it thats the world revolves around Trout!

But what about for yourself? Come on, admit it, you love having her there
I always call Prego and Polly as soon as I get into bed.

I have done all sorts of thing to them in my sleep, flinging them off the bed, rolling over onto them, kicking them. They just come right back and snuggle.

Ginger isn't a snuggler but she always spends time at night curled up on my bed near or next to me. I find that when I have to go away from home for a night or three that having her near me at night is what I miss the most!

Poor thing - I smacked her once by accident when I was rolling over and had no idea she was right there. I was so glad that she forgave me!

I do love it too, nothing like a furry creature cuddling with you

I apologize, I was wrong. I only read this string. I love my kittens but I really only read and search posts when I have a question so unlike everyone else here I am not in touch with everyone elses history. Next time I will assume if a person deserves to be told to get a stuffed animals everyone who is so intune with this board will point it out.

I'm so glad to hear that Trout is doing so well in the bed with you! I posted that last comment before I'd read all the way to the end... I just couldn't stop laughing at that picture! It does sound like Trout was lonely! I'm glad he's doing so much better now. Shachar sleeps in bed with us, too (the other cats usually sleep with the kids.) It's the only time he really loves attention, so I make sure to spend lots of time with him during the middle of the night (I'm not setting up the best habits for him, but I'll take what I can get!)
