I think "cat lady" is definitely tattooed on my forehead! Let's just say that I now I 6 foster kittens.
How I went from 1 to 6 in a matter of two hours, I don't know, but it definitely happened. Well, it seems as though Kenzie is going to the shelter tomorrow to be officially placed up for adoption. She has already had several people inquire about her, so hopefully she will have a new home soon.Yea!
In the mean time...I have 6 kittens! Ahhh! How did that happen?
....well, after I feed them all, i'll take some pictures and explaine better. The 5 new kittens are about 5 weeks old and look really well at the moment. They are going to the vet tomorrow to be dewormed and possibly vaccinated. They don't have names at the moment, so i'll take a poll and let everyone help with that.
They are absolutely adorable! There are what looks to be 4 tuxedos and 1 little dilute tabby. I'm not sure about the genders yet- I will look later after they've been feed. All I can say is that I have the most awesome boyfriend ever!!! I called Colin about the situation earlier and i definitely didn't think he'd let me bring them home- but he said "No problem! I can't wait to see them!" Wow! Have I turned him into a cat person or what???
. Oh, and good news, my ringworm seems to be going away, so I called my dermatologist and the vets today to make sure it was ok to bring the new kittens here, and they said no problem
Kenzie's is also almost gone! So she has been cleared to be put up for adoption tomorrow.
Well, i'm off to go feed 6 kittens....and while i'm at it, i should DEFINITELY get my head examined!
I will post pictures later for everyone to see!
