I have no idea how to eliminate this behavior!

Skunk tries to nurse on both Maui & Bandit's (Another new name, I just can't find the right one!)... ahem... man parts...

I've tried giving him stuffed animals- he's not interested in them at all. We've tried all different kinds of them too.

Someone had recommended that stuffed one that has a heartbeat and pulsates or something but I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a stuffy if he is going to totally turn his nose up at it.

I don't know how to redirect this behavior. He doesn't suckle on anything else really. Moving him to a new place or preventing "access" doesn't work- he will just keep trying, and trying, and trying until the other cat moves away; and then sometimes he follows them!

Poor little guy- I know he does it because he had to give up the real deal at 4 weeks, cold turkey too!

What's Maui and Bandit's reaction? Maybe they'll be the ones to stop Skunk if they can't tolerate the behavior anymore.
Does Skunk try to suckle on you when you carry him?
Ichi and Yon (2 of my orphaned kittens) suckle on me until they fall asleep, leaving me with a wet lap/chest. If I do not have the time (or the proper clothes) I lay them down on my soft slippers. They're happy with the alternative.

Nope- he doesn't suckle on me... or anything else... just the man parts!

Both Maui & Bandit will let him do it for a few seconds, then they'll start kicking his head away but he just keeps coming back, and then they will get up when they can't take it anymore and sometimes (not always) Skunkerton will follow them around like he wants some more.

I feel like if he at least did it to something else I could get him more of whatever it is- so he has lots of options but all he wants is......

I can't stand the sound it makes when he does it either, it makes my skin crawl

Erm, maybe a pacifier??

Not to be too crude but I guess you need to find something with a similar shape and texture to what he's going after?

That's what I was thinking too... but what the heck could I use/get?!

It's kind of sad but funny at the same time

I just don't want him doing this for the rest of his life!
