Kitty stepping where she shouldn't be. plz HELP

Recently i got 2 kitties and they have been getting use to my house and came box trained. But as of late Miko has been unintentionally stepping into her poop after using the box. Does anyone know how i can stop this?

The only way that I know of,is to scoop more often.Until she learns to cover it on her own.Or, maybe cover it with some fresh litter after she goes to show her to cover it.

i'm very compulsive...if anyone watches Monk, i relate to him so much. I've been pretty good at watching them do their bussiness and scooping right after just so the next one can have a good time in there. but it seems to me that she only steps on it when shes trying to cover it and its always the hind legs. As of right now the only thing i could think of to work was a wet towel right outside the box but it still doesnt' get everything. I love these guys and i don't wanna be mean and give them a bath 4 times a day. someone plz belp

and get a larger box. or an additional box
