Hi everyone -
has anyone known that cancer of the iris (and my cat's surgery for it, he has lost his eye) can be limited only to the eye? The lab guy said he had heard of it being limited but had not seen it. Nipper's blood tests and x-rays and general health have shown nothing , and the cancer in the eye itself was well contained.
The vets can only say wait and see what 'develops' which I am not keen to do.
Any recommendations too pleeeease? for what foods to help strengthen the immune system and prevent a blood-related cancer from recurring? And what is good in warm weather/post surgery to gain some weight.?
He is otherwise much at peace right now, cuddly and a week after surgery doing great. We are hoping for a complete cure. He is 19 next month, in August.
