    Green tea toxic?

Thank you! Of course, I would be the first to rush him to the vet if he worried me...but it was only once a day, and he drinks a lot. I even pinched the skin of his neck to make sure he isn't dehydrated. He's okay now...it must have been the tap water.....but I'll still continue looking around...

My Timine has started to have diarrhea, and I was wondering if it could be armful to give him green tea to drink. Licking Nose

Yes! Timine and Luna are both nose-lickers. That's how I wake up every morning. I wonder if they learned that from each other or if it's just a coincidence that both of them do that.

    Save Her!!!

*sigh* we don`t have any no-kill shelter around here... The thing is...the cat was medicated a few times already, and she says she doesn`t have enough money anymore. She says the food is 25$ the bag, wich in my opinion is not that much... But I can`t take the poor cat, I have two already and...

    Save Her!!!

Oooh! I really need help! My neighboor has just come to ask me for my cat`s cage, and she is going tomorrow morning to put her to sleep....because of blood in her urine (wich I assume is UTI or blockage? She said the poor little 3 years old girl was doing fine with the special food, but she...

    Hug your furkids...

Wonderful! Azrael will be in my prayers from now on! I lost my precious Gibril to one of those blockages, so your baby is showing everyone that miracles can be possible. Hang in there, both of you.

    Chronic Soft Stool...good food?

Yes! ask pro-biotics to your vet, and maybe try Eukaneuba low-residue. My two cats had horrible diarrhea for weeks, the vets tried everything and nothing worked, but when they started eating that, it got better really fast. Good luck!

    Vomit...vet doesn't know.

Thank you so much! I just wonder why the vet didn't tell us to try that. Sometimes I get very suspicious of them. I had another bad experience with my other kittens. They were both having severe diarrhea and it had been going on for months. And all the vets did was to check them up and give them...

    Vomit...vet doesn't know.

Yes, okay, I'll do that. Although I kind of thought the allergy food would be good to see if she's intolerant to any ingredient... But now that you mention it, both my other indoor cat's started to have diarrhea when i tried to switch them for the Indoor food... Yes, I'll give it a try. I...

    Vomit...vet doesn't know.

My family's five years old cat Drusilla had been throwing up on and off for the last two months or so. Sometimes it's a day out of two, sometimes almost a week can go by and then she does it again. She usually vomits in the morning. And it's pretty digested food with no hair. We were worried so...

    Allergy to rice??

Thank you! the vibes seem to work.:P Shelby is getting a bit naughty though...she has found a way to get around her collar and lick one of her sores. Don't cats have healing instinct?lol Would she just lick her whole stomach sore if I let her?? On another subject, my mother's 5 years old lady...

    Allergy to rice??

Hmmm, yes, food detox could be it....I was planing on bringing her to the vet first thing tonight, but when I called them they said it was most likely due to the collar irritating the ears and her not being abble to clean them out...So they said to try and clean it for her and put some...

    Allergy to rice??

*sigh* This morning both her ears had this kind of yellowish small protuberance on the inside (midway down the ears). I'm really wondering if it could be the collar? Because her ears keep being flipped back in it and I read they can be very fragile. I also tried to swab the brown dirt from her...

    Allergy to rice??

I forgot to thank everyone for all the answers the last time I posted about Shelby`s allregy. Thank you! Well now, she is on an hypoallergic food, and her sores are starting to look better. She does have to wear one of those Elizabethan colars though, because she kept licking them. It's been...

    Allergy to rice??

I suspect that my 6 months old kitten (Shelby) is allergic to rice...do any of you know if it's even possible? According to the vet it is so rare that they don't have an hypo-food without it. And also if there is good quality one without rice as an ingredient? (That I couldn't find in Canada)...

    teaching a cat dog tricks.

It's not exactly as if she were running back at me at will...but my smallest one, Luna has learned to catch a toy mouse I throw and bring it back in my hand. The funny thing is she learned that all by herself and she likes it so much I can spend an entire evening playing with her while watching...

Does your cat roll in the tub?

LOL, obviously, both mine also love to relax in there. But I often take bubble baths, so I like to play the "catch the wet feet game", like others said they did, lol. Except I have to make sure that they never win...they still got their claws.lol
