    Therapy cats

I did actually know that about ESA vs service animals. Thanks. I have been putting a harness on her in doors to get her used to it. We haven't attached a lead yet biut the harness doesn't seem to bother her. I'd like to bring her with us if I have to take him to the store since I think focusing...

    Therapy cats

I hope this is the right forum. Has anyone got information on this? I've heard it can be done. I don't have room for a dog so a therapy dog is not possible. My son has autism and melts down often, and has been known to elope in public. I'm hoping my young juvenile can be trained to help him...

    Being evicted have two cats

My friend's dad offered to take them. He is almost two hours away, but I could see them occasionally I'm gutted over giving my kids over to be raised by the woman who broke up their family. They're all asleep in my room, which is against the rules, and I don't care.

Posting a flyer at work let's everyone know and I don't think I'm strong enough to let everyone know.

    Being evicted have two cats

I've tried to get caught up with the bills. It's been so hard since my husband left. Add work "forgetting to pay" my benefits for a month when I was on medical leave and things snowballed. I thought I had worked out payment plans with utilities and landlord, but everyone wants their money next...

Anyone with experience with thise claw covers?

They are just guard rails, and honestly it's been such a week, I haven't attempted to make it other than putting the sheets on. Classes started after a real rough weekend working night shift, while kids were still on summer vacation.

Anyone with experience with thise claw covers?

I was carrying her up, but she either picks a fight with big brother and gets mad when he sits on her or looks over the side and gets scared then climbs back down, only to realize she hates being down there alone lol and climbs back up again. Do you think she'd even use a shelf system set up...

Anyone with experience with thise claw covers?

The bed takes up the whole wall. I had actually thought about that but I can't figure out where to place them so they can join me. I'm horrible with nail trimming .I get nervous I'm going to hurt them and make them bite and start shaking .I generally just let them scratch on a lot of things to...

Anyone with experience with thise claw covers?

Kitten is about 4 months old and although there are some tussles with the big boy they seem to get along. The problems start when you realize she hates being alone. I recently had a New bed built. A king sized loft. I told the builder I wanted to do any painting or staining myself and as a...

    When a cat is dying...

My girl preferred the cold hard tile at the end .Perhaps that's what yours wants too. Regarding food can you try soft food? Also, try walking in and requesting the records to expedite things.

    Bowel movements in kittens

Thanks. I don't see anything suspicious in her stool like my other cats had when I got them, but a fecal sample to the vet is an easy thing to do. It's definitely a change. Her stool was formed before and now it's little blobs .

    Bowel movements in kittens

She was checked for parasites. We adopted her the last week of June (Monday?) They did deworm her with her spay. I'm not sure what they were feeding her other than soft food mixed with kitten food, but not the brand. I have been changing food though trying to find one in my price range with a...

    Bowel movements in kittens

We were told when we adopted her that they think she is about 10 or 11 weeks the last week of June. I normally just clean the litter box and don't pay attention, but have been sleeping in her room since she sleeps with DD and DD is not home . This means I get a front row sseat to her toilet...

17-year old cat-tongue hanging out and drooling?

If it was a stroke the major danger is over as the initial trauma has been done and whatever is damaged will have been damaged with the stroke . At that point you are keeping them calm, clean and fed and allowing their bodies to heal what they can . Best of luck .

    Force Feeding Kitty :(

Don't beat yourself up. Often cats will seek out a spot to be alone near the end. She chose to wait for you because she loved and trusted you. My darling girl passed in the last week of June (probably right around her birthday if I calculated right). She knows you cared. And she is at peace now...

    When a cat is dying...

My three year old wanted to be alone so we didn't even know he was sick until it was too late. My 17 year old for the past year would go days in solitude, come for a reminder that we were still there and leave again. Her last two days she just wanted me and cried i. I wasn't there. She cried...

    Cat attacked my son

So, we've been doing all meals with me sitting in the doorway. They nibble a little, look up at the other one, and go back to eating, but until today, they never looked up at the same time. That time they stared at each other for a bit before resuming eating. When big boy gets done I let him...

My cat ran away from the Vet clinic

My friend's cat was missing for weeks on end. They did find him scared and thin, but they did find him. I will hope for the same for you.
