I wish every brand and variety put a picture on the label. I am trying to find a grain free canned food that both of my babies will eat. No pate at all. No shredded for Crimmie. No fancy cuts of vegetables for either. Needs to be small pieces similar to Fancy Feast gravy lovers variety...

My ex-husband attempts to feed Crimmie while I'm at work.  I came home today and saw her cap on the floor.  I took her dressing off and replaced it right away.  He fed her at 130pm, I got home at 330pm.  Not sure when it came off.  I gave her sub q fluids right away and am holding her feeding...

Since the 3rd, she has lost almost half a pound despite our efforts :( I have to step up the sub q fluids to 300 ml daily, and try to push more calories.  All she wants to do is sleep and cuddle.  I took tomorrow off so I can try to get her loaded up with fluids and food.  My poor itty bitty...

Any suggestions for added calories when using a/d for tube feeding? Right now I'm just using water.  But I hate having to cut her calories and add to her volume. I have powdered KMR.  I was think of using that instead of just water...Any other suggestions?

Crimmie has haemobartonella felis... Good news is that it is treatable with antibiotics, and NG tube feedings since she isn't eating enough. Bad news is she has a NG tube and thinks I am the devil

I came across this site a couple of days ago while searching for more info about hepatic lipidosis.  My sweet 6 year old girl, Crimmie, is suffering from FHL.  She has seen the vet and we are attempting assisted feeding with a syringe, Hills a/d.  She takes it like a true woman lol  He tolerates...
