    Cat with Severe Spine Degeneration

Oh no so sorry, I have read a lot about skin irritation but many seem very much helped by it. Please let me know what they may find helps. She is on glucosamine and CBD and also prednisolone but was on that before for GI issues and it doesnt help enough.

    Cat with Severe Spine Degeneration

They checked urine vs labs and she is concentrating well but had a bad infection - this is her 6th UTI this year so tried new antibiotic. She seems comfy and she is hydrated I am just assuming at her age she must be but my vet said not based on labs and urine.

    Cat with Severe Spine Degeneration

Our 18-20 year old rescue recently hurt herself jumping (not sure came home to cat dragging leg) and Xray revealed severe spine degeneration and slipped disc at base of tail. Vet thought she may not recover as she could barely stand or walk. Tried an NSAID that is "supposed" to be used away...

Spinal disease in older rescue kitty

My older rescue kitty was just diagnosed with severe spinal disease. I knew she was arthritic which she was being treated for, but on Saturday she started walking funny and was not putting her bottom down to the ground. She still used the litter pan OK but with difficulty. Today the x-ray...

Mysterious issues with kitty before passing :(

Thank you for sharing and for the condolences. It is so mysterious as the ear position and drunken like walk happened just 2x that we saw. But what we saw Saturday was horrific. I can't help but wonder if the Solencia contributed to that episode but i sure hope not. As for the cancer, prior...

Mysterious issues with kitty before passing :(

Long history of IBD with diarrhea, black tarry stools for my girl Laverne. Well managed on prednisone the past 2 years but it started up again last month so used metronidazole once or twice. But the history... About 6 months ago she had been on husbands lap when suddenly her left ear went down...

    Need help please - Seizures

I am so so sorry. My older kitty started having very violent seizures when he was around 14. They were infrequent but his body would bounce from one side of room to another after literally flying in the air out of a sound sleep. It was nothing my vet had even heard of but he would fall and...

Senior Cat w/ IBD and Leg Weakness - no kidney issues

LOVE THIS! Do you know if can buy the powder online vs vet? I found the gel on Chewy but she hated it so I guess it's not script? Also what did the potassium do for your girl and how long did it take? Thanks tons!

Senior Cat w/ IBD and Leg Weakness - no kidney issues

She has always been super loud but it is weird, we thought they left part of an ovary in many years ago and she sounds like in heat but not quite as bad but it was always too risky to explore on her due to GI issues. Could be that, but you would think her ovaries would burn out by now. The...

Senior Cat w/ IBD and Leg Weakness - no kidney issues

Thank you so much this is a great suggestion. Did not know kitties could get Cushings. She definitely does not have diabetes. The challenge with stopping the prednisone or switching as it does appear to actually help her pain and vet says if there is a mass or cancer it helps shrink tumors...

Cat Hind Legs Giving Out - Most things ruled out but getting worse

No, not that I know of and it makes sense to me. What would cause this and is there a way to supplement somehow?

Cat Hind Legs Giving Out - Most things ruled out but getting worse

Thank you so much. Low potassium or high phosphorus makes sense for her she is on Pred but not sure if this is an OTC supplement? My vet never tested her for these so I am worried.
