Addie, I am SO glad that Jake is home! A few years back my precious Lady went missing. She was gone for 11 days. I almost gave up hope. I am sure glad that I did not give up! Thank Goodness that you did not give up either.
Try putting some of soda's used cat litter out. Try putting out some smelly food. I had a cat that was missing for 11 days and I found her the following day after I put the cat litter out.
Yeah, I was not really comfortable using sedatives either. I just they will just have to ride it out, and hopefully they will settle down knowing that I am there with them.
We are going to be moving in a few weeks. I have 5 cats that are very skiddish (why I have no idea...) and I am worried about moving them. I moved one of my cats to a different room while we were remodeling and she had a fit!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the transition easier...
Thank You all for the thoughts!
Knowing that I did the right thing helps but I still miss him!
He had 30 years of a good life, almost half of which I had the pleasure of being his mom!
He was a kind gentle boy!
Hopefully his legacy will continue with my other horses in time.
This weekend I had to send my sweet horse Billy to the Rainbow Bridge. His poor body was giving out on him and I did not want to cause him any pain or suffering. He got his favorite treats and went peacefully when it was time. He was such a good boy and he had many wonderful years. It is so hard...
Oh MA, I am SO sorry to hear that Shell has lost her battle. Once again you have shown so much love and fought so hard for our precious ones. Shell was loved so much in her last days!
RIP Shell! You touched the hearts of so many!
I just called to check up on this sweet boy and he has found a Great Home!
I am so happy for him and the lucky people that have this wonderful little guy!
I do not have any pictures of this darling boy, he is being taken care of by the local vet. Maybe I can get some after this horrible weather passes by. I'll have to call and ask.
I rescued a kitten Friday that someone decided to toss out. He is missing his right eye, and was cold and hungry, but that did not stop him from being a little love bug! He is a chocolate point himalayan. He is at the local vet right now, and I cannot keep him as we have our limit of animals. If...
I used to hang the bag on a hook by the sink and put a towel down in the sink and put Bud in there. That way I could lean over him to keep him still and still have both hands free. Worked good for me...
