We recently adopted a kitten. She's now  up to date on all her vaccines. She got the PureVax Rabies Vaccine. I have an autoimmune disease, which may cause my immune system to be compromised. My kitten tends to be a bit nippy when you play with her too much/pet her too much. I'm slightly afraid...

She's being taken to the vet for her check up this Monday! Her last round of antibiotics which seem to work since she's not sniffling or sneezing as much end Sunday night. She will be microchipped and we should be able to adopt her next week :)

Update: We've decided a kitten is too much too handle right now. We've found this beautiful 10 month - 1 year old cat. Her name is Dinah. We are hoping to adopt her, maybe meeting her tomorrow!

So after searching and searching, we found this gorgeous girl.   However, she is about 5 pounds and about 10 months to a year old. Is this normal? She doesn't seem too skinny. She is exactly what we wanted in a cat, but her weight is a bit concerning. Is she just a small cat?
