I have two cats who were 98% out of the way during foster care but tracked across the same floor (laminated, some carpet) which I hit with bleach. While I am certain the kitten had clean feet (as far as urine and feces are concerned) I can't be entirely sure of that since we're talking a...
Hi guys,
After fostering a kitten which, unfortunately, passed under my care it was later discovered that he had Panleukopenia.
A major concern I have is whether or not there's a way to truly tell if I've done a good job in getting rid of it so I don't live in fear that there are patches...
That's the only one I saw but we have a rock wall behind the field which neighboring cats will often use as some kind of cat freeway so it really could be a case of admiring from afar while the mom went out shopping.
Would JamJams Snowshoe pattern be considered common or can I give her an...
I found another picture of her face to show greater detail:
It's nice to have it all explained to me though. I know that all features and characteristics boil down to genetics but sometimes it's hard to keep up!
Thanks for all the in-depth information you two!
I never even knew there was such a thing as a Snowshoe but definitely something I will be doing my homework on since I am always interested in learning more about my girls as well as our pets in general.
So would it be fair for me to say she's a...
Hey fellas,
Just curious if any of you can help identify the pattern of my precious little girl, JamJams.
The third photo is her mamma. Unfortunately, I don't have one of the father but I suspect he's a grey tiger which I saw every once and a while when momma bolted out of the house when...
Hello and sorry for the wait, our internet has been finicky the past several days.
Here is a picture of the condition:
What I meant by head gland was her scent glands where she'll rub up on to objects in order to leave her scent to mark ownership. In this case, as you can see, her glands...
Hello!
Over the past couple of days, I have noticed that there are crusty red patches located only on her head glands. There are a total of three; two of which are about the size of a grain of rice on the left and right side of her head and the third is quite a bit larger on her right side...
Hey fellas!
The first, Moxxi, is about two and a half years old and seems to have general communication quirks. She has a very quiet meow and doesn't purr a lot but, when she does, the only way you can tell is if you're petting or holding her. It's virtually inaudible. I know she's happy...
Thanks for the reply!
1 - They are both fixed.
2 - There were cases in the past where she and even her kitten would go absolutely insane at the window when she saw something on the lawn at night. I never got to see what it was though but it may have been the neighbours cat. Although when she...
Hey fellas,
Recently (well, maybe a few weeks now) my otherwise playful momma kitty has been showing signs of aggression during the night. She isn't hiding under the bed or actively seeking violence (she sleeps really close to me on the bed) but if I have my hand too close or her kitten (well...
Aw, thanks!
Moxxi is certainly a very special kitty although she absolutely loves to get dirty! Rain or shine, she loves to roll around in the dirt and comes home like nothing happened in spite of being covered head to tail with the occasional slugs embedded in her fur.
Thanks a lot, again, for all the help you've provided!
Bonus question: I know Moxxi, her momma, is a pointed cat but I am debating as to which kind of point.
I don't have better pictures at the moment as my USB stick which holds all of their pictures is elsewhere. I'm not sure what her...
