So Poptart finally got spayed yesterday (yay!) but when I picked her up this morning they told me it looks like she has "Pillow Paw" (Plasma Cell Pododermatitis) I have looked up about it online and it seems like it is rare... I was just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with this before? Was...
Thanks everyone.
She was spayed yesterday and stayed the night. Everything went well with the spay. They told me she has "pillow paw" and they are worried she has FIV. My vet told me many times I didn't have to worry about it because she is 100% inside. From what I read she would have gotten...
I agree with taking her to the vet.
I know a lot of people tend to forums like this and ask because they are low on funds and believe me I can relate! If that is the case and the reason you have not yet taken her; a lot of humane societies (at least in the US) help with cost and/or provide care...
So I talked to the vet since her spay is next week and they said they do not have anyone there after 11pm. I asked if I could please take her home and they said it was against policy to allow females to go home that night.
I have a spay certificate so I cannot pick another vet. I really hate...
I understand the sadness you are feeling. I had a pug (who recently passed...) that was attacked by another dog and he lost all of his sight. My husband and I went through a long period where we would look at him and cry, I always blamed myself and the "what I could of done". He ended up living...
I wasnt angery at all... I just said I wouldn't do it and would just lock her in the room. Most people here have you given you well thought opinions and examples (with them being in a rescue). I even said it might stop in a couple months but you over looked that, you just want an easy fix and...
Your cat is only 6 months. I think after a while the accidentally grabbing on and hurting people will stop. Poptart always used to panic and grab when you where moving her off. She is now 1 year 5 months and she has stopped.
I wouldn't declaw your cat, I would rather lock my cat in the room...
I don't want to make a new thread so I will ask here... I notice people always saying limit fish, do they mean in the cans too? I just bought a variety pack and it has 10 of chicken, turkey, beef and tuna. I try to rotate through all 4 to keep her a variety. However, Should I limit the tuna one...
So I made an appointment to have Poptart spayed. They told me I could drop her off at 8am and pick her up at 7:30am the next morning... Is this normal? I am being charged $10 extra for this (and if picked up after 7:30am $20 an hour). When I had another cat of mine spayed she was sent home that...
Let me start by saying Poptart will be spayed as soon as she is out of heat. I have been struggling recently and did not have the money to have her spayed (I could not find a vet to do it that was under $175), however I have found a program that helps me with cost and she will be spayed once...
Poptart is small, she is about 6 or 7lbs. She gets one 5.5 oz can a day, the last vet visit the vet told me she was a good weight so I haven't added more. Though, I do leave dry food out. However, I'm taking it away as she doesn't even eat it anymore and it just sits.
I agree with the appears to be more expensive! I do not feed the grain free food as right now $1.99 a can is way out of what I can afford.. however I feed Friskies (I know that a lot of people think it's trash.. but yeah better than the dry food I was feeding) and I found that it is actually a...
