Will my cats ever get along? Issues with introductions after over a month

Thank you, all. I'm still working on it. I have a week or two of good progress (them being in the same room together, eating next to each other, play with the same toy, etc) then he goes after her and I'm back at square one again. She shuts down, freaks out over every cat - even the ones she's...

Will my cats ever get along? Issues with introductions after over a month

Thank you so much for your reply. I forgot to mention that I have the feliway plugged in for a bit now.  She does have places to sit and "hide" away when she wants. He is a little afraid of her now after the spray bottle worked in her favor so well, but has still went after her twice in the...

Will my cats ever get along? Issues with introductions after over a month

I had a 3 car household (2 male, 1 female, all fixed) until I introduced a 1 year old male black cat about 1.5 months ago. He was fixed about a month before I got him. He's sweet, loves my dogs and respects the boundaries of the male cats. Our issue is that my female reacted poorly to his...

    Fleas from the vet??

Hello! I recently dropped my cat off at the vet which resulted in a stay over the weekend for observation (he's fine, just ongoing issues). When I finally got to speak with someone on Monday, they mentioned he was dirty and had fleas (!?!?). I asked them to check to make sure we were talking...

Frequent Vomiting, becoming more often - Please help!

He's been eating the PurinaOne Urinary Health formula. Not the best, I know. My other male cat has a history of urinary issues and this just worked for him. He has been on several foods, but he has been fed this one for two years. I suppose it is worth a shot to switch it up.

Frequent Vomiting, becoming more often - Please help!

Hello all, My cat Myrrh (indoor, neutered 4 year old, long-ish hair domestic) has always been a bit of a puker (2-3x a week) and when I took him to the vet a couple years ago, they weren't concerned. As I am the one who cleans it up and never saw anything suspicious or worrying, I didn't worry...

Suddenly my cat can barely walk... :(

We just got back from the vet, again. She took X-rays, which looked good and didn't show any issues. He also went to the litter box and ate like normal that morning as well. Sam's blood pressure was normal and no temp. She felt his leg that she thinks is bothering him and gave me some pain meds...

Suddenly my cat can barely walk... :(

They didn't. They were more interested in taking x-rays of his chest... I didn't understand that. They also got the blood pressure from his hind leg so they assumed. It was a different vet and since it wasn't life threatening I just wanted to bring him to my normal vet in the morning for x-rays...

Suddenly my cat can barely walk... :(

Thank you to who reads and responds, I'm happy I found this site and hope someone might have some ideas! A little background. Sam is about 12-13 years old (was a stray when I adopted him). He's a big (not overweight!) 18 pound black cat. He's been in perfect health since I've had him. He's...
