    I agree with most of what One&1/2cats said but I also understand needing to get them in there NOW, what we do here where I sometimes help trap, spay/neuter release is get an oversize crate, stand it on end and drop the cat in, then quickly close the door and away you go.  Good luck!

    I'm not sure where to put this but I have a PS to my post and that is I have started putting puppy pee pads under the litter box and they help so much with the mess of missing of the box, or splatter from going on the lip.
